The Girls Tutoring and Mentoring Program has set out to encourage academic success, personal growth, and positive social and emotional development among girls. The program is designed to provide academic support, help with homework, build self-esteem and confidence, cultivate positive relationships, communication skills, leadership, and decision-making abilities, and foster responsible and respectful behavior. The program integrates social and emotional learning (SEL) into its curriculum, which includes activities and exercises aimed at enhancing girls' self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making. By incorporating SEL into its approach, the Girls Tutoring and Mentoring Program aims to help girls develop the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral competencies necessary to excel in school, relationships, and life.
